IRC Network

The MTA IRC server is part of the GTANET IRC network. You are welcome to join #gta for all general GTA talks. If you need help with the IRC server you can come to #callcentre.

If you do not have an IRC client (such as mIRC) you can use the java applet.

IRC Rules

IRC or internet relay chat is a commonly used protocol for chat. MTA has it's own IRC server with quite some useful channels.

Before entering, please take a minute to read these rules:
* You can only speak english.
* Do not ask for release dates.
* No personal messages to the channel operators, unless it's really needed (to avoid spamming).
* Do not use obsessive text make-up.
* Do not advertise any businesses, server IPs or websites without permission.
* No piracy related talk.

Our main channel, always full of developers and nice people, is irc.multitheftauto.com - #mta. This channel is for general MTA talk or general discussions, but not for support. To get support, please visit our forums or support page by clicking the links above.

You're welcome to open channels on our IRC server, for example if you're looking for a chatting place for your gang, mod or maps.
